It was a long wait for Diego, since he got to the school a little late.
Finally he got to the front of the school in his SUV and when he stopped a teacher walked Jalin and Jamie over to Diego’s Explorer. Diego unlocked the doors and the teacher opened the back door. Then Jalin and Jamie climbed in.
“Buckle your seatbelts, boys,” said Diego, “They weren’t too much trouble, were they?”
“Oh no,” said the teacher, “They were little angels. Bye, you three.”
“Bye!” said Diego, Jalin, and Jamie at the same time.
After the teacher shut the door, Diego drove off.
“So…how was school today, fellas?” asked Diego as he was driving.
“It was cool, Dad,” said Jalin.
“Hey, Daddy, will you turn on some music?” asked Jamie.
“Sure! What do you wanna hear?” asked Diego.
“Mommy!” said Jalin and Jamie at the same time.
“Okay,” said Diego.
Diego reached his hand to the CD compartment and pulled out a CD that said, “Nicole/Mommy” on it and popped it into the CD player. The twins loved to hear Nicole sing. They fell in love with it ever since Nicole sang the first lullaby to them.
Finally they arrived to the Gestovian FBI and CIA building. Diego parked the car and they went in. When they got inside the building, Diego took Jalin and Jamie to his office. Then he closed the door.
“Okay,” said Diego, “Daddy’s got to go take care of some business. So I want you two to stay in here, okay?”
“Okay, Daddy!” said Jalin and Jamie.
“Okay. Well…I’ll be right back!”
Diego then left the room.
After they saw Diego leave the room, Jalin and Jamie were left only to talk to each other.
“So what do you want to do?” asked Jamie.
“I say we sneak out of this office and go check out the other parts of the building,” said Jalin, heading toward the door.
“But what about Daddy?” said Jamie, following Jalin to the door.
“We’ll be back before he even finds out we’re gone,” said Jalin, opening the door.
“Oh, okay,” said Jamie at Jalin’s side.
They then walked out of the room, forgetting to close the door.
